CHARITY SHOP SELLS PLANTS AND ACCEPTS CASH DONATIONS FOR THE MANCHESTER EMERGENCY FUND

The British Red Cross charity shop in Falkland Square is selling plants and accepting cash donations for the Manchester Emergency Fund. The ‘We Love Manchester Emergency Fund’ was launched by Manchester City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross, to support those affected by the bomb explosion at the Ariana Grande concert in the Manchester Arena.

Mike Adamson, Chief Executive of the British Red Cross said: “Our hearts go out to the families and friends of those affected by this terrible attack.” Assistant Manager at the British Red Cross charity shop in Crewkerne, Susan Hart, said: “We are selling plants from our table outside and are taking cash donations for the Manchester Emergency Fund inside the shop.” British Red Cross volunteers across the country are offering support to families affected by the attack in which 22 people were tragically killed and dozens more injured.
