The bride who is a volunteer at the Local Information Centre in Crewkerne town hall, wore a cream and gold 50’s style tea dress with gold satin shrug. Victoria known to friends and family as Vikki, was given away by her son Tyler Le-Fort who wore a silver morning suit. Chief bridesmaids were Vikki’s daughters Jessica and Chloe who wore pale green Lindybop dresses and were accompanied by Vikki’s grandchildren, bridesmaids Elouise and Georgiana Le-Fort and Xanthe-Ann LeFort-Guest, aged just 14 weeks old. Page boy was Travis Le-Fort.
Stuart Berry wore a silver grey bespoke suit with claret waistcoast, his groomsperson was his daughter Eleanor. The marriage ceremony in the Plucknett room at Abbey Manor included readings by Justin Guest, Elouise, Georgiana and Travis Le-Fort and a recitation of song lyrics by friends of the couple, Neil Dutton and Jaine Leaning, that included the showing of humorous props. After the signing of the marriage register, Vikki and Stuart led the wedding party out of the 15th Century, Grade 1 listed manor house to the tune of Lovesong by The Cure.
A wedding reception for the happy couple, who met playing online tribal war games three years ago, was held in the Hideaway Bar at the Royal Oak in Crewkerne and was followed by an evening function for their many friends and family with dancing to Sam and the Plus band, accompanied by the drummer Mike Brown and bass guitarist John James from the One Tree Hill band. Victoria LeFort-Berry and her husband Stuart visited friends and family in the UK before heading off to Crete for their honeymoon.
