FAREWELL PARTY FOR CHARITY SHOP EMPLOYEE BEFORE MAJOR SHOP REFIT

A farewell party for Sue Hart, the assistant manager at the Red Cross shop in Crewkerne, took place before a major shop refit took place, which has now been successfully completed. The get together and farewell for Sue was held in Bilbys cafe where a buffet was served. Sue was thanked by shop manager Sarah Taylor for her many years of service to Red Cross retail. Sarah said: “We wish Sue all the best for the future and thank her for her support, hard work and friendship, she will be missed. I would like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who could make the get together and I am so grateful to Jane and her team for the lovely buffet. We will be back.”

Sue Hart’s last day at the charity shop coincided with the shop closing for a major refit. The Red Cross shop in Falkland Square has now been transformed into a much brighter and welcoming space for all its customers. The grand re-opening of the shop will take place on Saturday September 23rd at 11 am, with a special offer of a free raffle ticket with every purchase made on the day.
