The annual Bonfire & Fireworks Display held by the Rotary Club of Crewkerne District promises to provide the full bonfire night experience with the additional attractions of glow ropes and sparklers as well as the usual stalls selling hot food and candy floss. The event will take place in a field behind the Old Stagecoach Inn in Station Road on Saturday November 4th. Entry gates open at 6.30 pm for the lighting of the bonfire at 7 pm and grand firework display beginning at 7.30 pm.
President of the Rotary Club of Crewkerne District Martin Holley said: “This is one of the highlights of the Rotary calendar in this area. It’s a real pleasure to see the community come together for such a magical experience.” The bonfire and fireworks evening is kindly sponsored by Singleton Engineering. Entrance fees are £6 for adults and £2 for children, with free entry to all children under the age of five years who are accompanied by an adult.
