CHILDREN ENJOY HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES AT MUSEUM

Children have been enjoying free Halloween activities at Crewkerne Museum and Heritage Centre during the school half-term holidays. The drop-in activities on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, included hunting for pumpkins and spiders in the galleries, making masks, black cats, witches and spiders from templates and decorating biscuits with an edible spooky themed topping. The room upstairs in the Heritage Centre was transformed into a Halloween craft room, complete with an eerily grey ragged curtain, leading to the landing and stairs. The free activities were a resounding success on Wednesday morning with over 25 children visiting the Museum and joining in the fun.
