Friends of Crewkerne Station were joined for their Winter Open Day by the Crewners, who sang carols and other festive songs to welcome rail passengers, on the platform and in the station’s waiting room. The waiting room had been decorated for the festive occasion by the Friends with a glittering Christmas tree complete with silver star, fresh seasonal garlands and paper decorations. Hot drinks and mince pies were available as Santa greeted everyone with a customary ‘Ho Ho Ho’.
