The Crewkerne Christmas market was hailed a success by traders and shoppers, despite snow in parts of the West Country, ice and very cold weather. With over 30 stalls, the market boasted a very good and different range of gift ideas, decorations, cards, food and drink. The Crewkerne Crewners once again brought Christmas carols and a festive atmosphere to the whole event.
Crewkerne Town Council deputy clerk Laura Gowers said: “We were all really pleased at the success of the Christmas market this year. It was very cold, but there was a great atmosphere. Thank you to all the stall holders and shoppers that supported the market, we hope to see you all again next year.” The featured photo was taken by Crewkerne photographer Caroline Woodhead.
