TWO SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS WOMEN HAVE RELOCATED TO NEW PREMISES

Two successful local business women have relocated to new premises in the town. Kylie Hammond’s Take A Peek Boutique re-opened at 31 Market Street on February 3rd with Crewkerne mayor, cllr Ben Hodgson cutting the official ribbon. The fully refurbished former book shop, offers more retail space than Kylie’s former shop at London House and features a photography studio with a personalised gift service that is already proving popular with those looking for an extra special gift. Kylie Hammond said: “A huge thank you to all our customers and passing Crewkerne residents for all your kind words and support. It’s been a fantastic couple of weeks in the new shop and your lovely comments have meant so much to us.”

Across the road at Pollard House, Juliet Mckelvey celebrated 10 years of running her own hair salon business on February 10th with an open day. Juliet’s Hair Salon formerly in South Street, relocated to the new premises on the 6th and is happy that being all on one level she can accommodate a wider range of clients. Juliet Mckelvey said: “Despite the poor weather, we had over 20 people call in who enjoyed a celebration drink, nibbles and our free raffle and giveaways. It was a great time to celebrate as it was my 10th anniversary of being in business. Everyone liked the salon and how it looks now and we are very thankful to all those who sent good luck cards, flowers and wished us well in our new premises.”
