CAKE SALES HELP RAISE £250 FOR CANCER RESEARCH

A coffee morning with cake sales and a raffle, helped raise £250 for Cancer Research UK. The event was hosted at the George Reynolds Centre by manager Sarah Wills and her daughter Emma Corthine. It preceded their taking part in the charity’s Race for Life Pretty Muddy event in Exeter on Saturday July 21st. Sarah and Emma completed the 5K muddy obstacle course in around an hour. Sarah Wills said: “It was brilliant, a lot of fun and helped us to raise money for Cancer Research UK along the way. We will definitely do it again and were pleased that we managed to complete the course in just over an hour.”
