Creative Crewkerne welcome back the Tangle Theatre Company on Thursday October 11th. The South West of England African Caribbean theatre company will present a township theatre styled piece in two parts, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s birth. Adapted and directed by Anna Coombs, this revival of Tangle’s widely successful 2014 performance, features South African a cappella songs, arranged by composer Allyson Devenish. Crewkerne Lions second charity tractor run is being held on Sunday October 14th, starting at 10 am from Clapton Farm. The event is open to all vehicles that can cope with on and off road travel. The Lion Club’s first tractor run in June proved a great success, covering around 21 miles over fields and through back lanes, and raising £1,000 for the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. A brand new route has been planned for the October tractor run in aid of Yeovil Town Football Club Disability Support Unit. Entry fee is £10 and breakfast baps will be available from 9 am. Crewkerne AWareness welcomes Sybella Loram on Monday October 15th at 7 pm for an evening demonstration of Psychic Mediumship. Sybella has established an excellent and reliable reputation as a psychic clairvoyant medium consultant since becoming established in 2009. She will invite everyone to select two tarot cards and hopes to provide a short reading for all who are present.
