1st Crewkerne Scouts Christmas card delivery service is now operating with a post box at No7 The Cafe in Market Street. For only 25p per card, Christmas cards for addresses within Crewkerne can be posted in the box. Deliveries take place during the week December 9th to 14th and 16th to 21st. Please do not put valuables inside your cards. Support for this annual initiative by the local Scouts is greatly appreciated.

Festive events in Crewkerne in the weeks running up to Christmas continue with a Christmas Bingo hosted by Crewkerne Lions Club on Friday December 7th at the Speedwell Hall. Doors open at 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start and there are lots of seasonal prizes to be won, including a chicken dinner hamper for everyone who shouts out a full house on the night.
Crewkerne Churches Together will be singing carols in Falkland Square at 10.30 am on Saturday December 15th with a collection for the Air Ambulance.
Crewkerne AWareness holds its end of year party on Monday December 17th at 7 pm in the Unitarian Chapel Hall in Hermitage Street with festive refreshments and a raffle. Guest speaker for the evening is Paula Fisher on How To Read Energies. Doors open at 6.30 pm, admission of £2.50 per person is payable at the door.
Phoenix Brass Band will be performing a programme of seasonal and popular music at Henhayes Centre on Friday December 21st. The concert starts at 7.45 pm and a licensed bar will be available. Tickets at £10 each include a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. Bookings for the concert can be made by calling Henhayes Centre on 01460 74340.
