Bargains are available at the Rotary Shop in Market Street before it closes on Saturday January 12th. Rotarians have reported a good footfall at their Christmas charity shop since it was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor Cllr Robin Pailthorpe on November 9th last year. Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Crewkerne, Inner Wheel Club of Crewkerne and the Rotary Club of Crewkerne District staffed the shop six days a week with all proceeds going mainly to local charities.
Bargains on offer include a range of glasses selling at only 10p each, paperbacks at 20p, hardbacks at 50p and quality chinaware, collectors plates, pictures, jewellery, merchandise for pets, pre-loved clothes and Christmas decorations all at knock down prices. The Rotary Club of Crewkerne are very grateful to the owner of the retail premises Andrew Evans of AME Maintenance, to the many customers who have supported their seasonal charity shop and all those who kindly donated quality used items.
