The talk and slide show of Oscar Davis’ time in Africa and Thailand, which was postponed in February, has been rescheduled to take place at Crewkerne Library on Friday March 15th at 11 am. Oscar Davis is a former Head of International Aid at the Red Cross and was BBC Breakfast Time ‘Disaster Man’ during the 1980’s. His presentation My Life And Work Abroad is expected to be very popular and Crewkerne Library are advising people to book their seats in advance.

The Orchards in Orchard Lane are hosting two events during March to which everyone is invited. A Coffee Morning will take place on Friday March 15th at 10.30 am until 12 noon and a Curry & Quiz Night on Friday March 29th, beginning at 6.30 pm. The social evening is to raise funds for the Residents’ Comfort Fund. Tickets cost £5 which include entry to the quiz, a glass of wine and a curry supper. The winner of the quiz will receive a bottle of bubbly. Please see a member of management or the activities team to purchase tickets.

Crewkerne AWareness welcomes Sandy Barley from Lifespath in Ilminster for the group’s March meeting on Monday 18th at 7 pm in the Unitarian Chapel hall. Sandy will give a presentation on Releasing Past Life Negativity. Sandy’s talk will include a demonstration on how to tap into the sub-conscious mind, to let go of any negative energies that may have occurred at the beginning of this life time or in a past life.
