Phoenix Brass competed against 15 other brass bands in the second section of the West of England Brass Band Association (WEBBA) Regionals held at the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay on March 10th. The Crewkerne based band were placed in 9th position overall and were pleased with their performance of test piece Rise of the Phoenix by Darrol Barry.

They would like to thank everyone for their continued support, Musical Director David Boorer who rejoined the band last summer, Colin and Claire who made a return and players who ‘moved seat.’ Phoenix Brass are now preparing for an afternoon concert at St Bartholomew’s Church, which will take place on Sunday May 12th at 3 pm.
