RESCHEDULED LIBRARY TALK GOES AHEAD WITH ADDED BONUS

A rescheduled talk and slide show by Oscar Davis at Crewkerne Library gave attendees an added bonus. Those who went along to ‘My Life And Work Abroad’ by the former Head of International Aid at the Red Cross each received a voucher entitling them to a 20% discount in the Red Cross charity shop in Falkland Square. A spokesperson for Friends of Crewkerne Library said: “It was a fascinating and thought provoking presentation. We would like to thank Oscar and everyone who attended and please don’t forget to use your vouchers.”

Crewkerne Library runs an exciting programme of events for adults and children throughout the year. Preparations are now being made for Let’s Get Creative which will take place from Saturday May 11th until 18th inclusive. Local crafters are invited to come along and display their handiwork in exchange for promotion and sale of their products. The library is hoping to fill morning or afternoon slots for one day in the week, during the craft exhibition and would like to hear from anyone who wants to take part. Please call into Crewkerne Library for more information.
