Forty four students at Wadham School are celebrating after receiving their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. 20 students were presented with their Silver award and 24 with their Bronze award at the annual awards ceremony, held at Westlands Leisure Complex in Yeovil. The students qualified for the award through a combination of expeditions, presentations and community volunteering.

Lead D of E staff, Chris Farmer and Libby Davison said: “Wadham School looks forward to continued success with this award at Bronze and Silver level and is grateful for the huge support received from the local community. We are delighted at the determination and initiative of our Wadham 6th form who have gained bursaries to support their gold expedition in the coming months. We look forward to continued success with the Duke of Edinburgh programme at Wadham for years to come.”
