CHEQUE PRESENTATION TO ROYAL BRITISH LEGION FOR POPPY APPEAL

A cheque for £150 was presented to the Crewkerne Branch of the Royal British Legion at the Antiques Bazaar on April 7th. The money was raised for the Poppy Appeal by ex-serviceman Keith Chinn, who has a unit at the antiques and vintage centre at the Old Textile Mill in South Street. For the fifth year running, Keith donated 10% of his sales during last November, with proprietor Anthony Bucke once again, matching the amount pound for pound. Chairman of the RBL Crewkerne Branch, Antony Samuel, gratefully accepted the cheque with many branch members present, who were very thankful to Keith and Anthony for their kind donation.
