Crewkerne AWareness celebrates its 7th Anniversary on Monday May 20th. The spiritual group, which meets monthly in the Unitarian Chapel hall at 7 pm is looking forward to welcoming Pippa Handley-Cooke from Plymouth as their guest speaker at the extra special meeting, which will include birthday cake and other refreshments. Pippa Handley-Cooke is a practitioner of vibrational treatments, specialising in crystal healing, sound therapy and Seichem Reiki. Pippa has created a range of high vibration essences, using natural ingredients, to assist with improved health, positive transformations and deep relaxation. Everyone is welcome to attend the May meeting of Crewkerne Awareness, please bring a plate of food to share. The entrance fee of £2.50 per person is payable at the door.

Management and staff at the George Reynolds Centre are busy finalising the arrangements for this year’s Cider and Gin Festival which takes place on Sunday May 26th from 12 noon until 11 pm. The annual event with free entry, held on the Henhayes Recreation Field, will include live music from Seatrees and D State, a bouncy castle for children, BBQ, a gin and a cider tent. A range of fun activities have been organised with a local sports team and permission has been kindly granted by Crewkerne Town Council to hold the event on the Henhayes field.
