The first of a series of Guided Walks around the town, organised by Crewkerne Museum, takes place on Tuesday June 25th at 10 am. The group will meet first at the museum for tea or coffee and take a look around the museum’s galleries before setting off on the historical trail. On the walk, they will learn what the town centre was like over 100 years ago. The second guided walk around Crewkerne’s town centre will be held in the evening on Tuesday August 6th at 6 pm, to give those working an opportunity to enjoy discovering the town’s history. The last in the series of this year’s Guided Walks around the town, will take place at 6 pm on Tuesday September 17th and will include Market Street, Abbey Street and Church Street. Booking for all walks must be made in advance at the museum as numbers are limited and cost £4 per ticket.
