Cancer Research UK will be at the Humphries Kirk office in Market Street, on Thursday June 27th for their Wills and Advice Surgery – giving supporters the opportunity to ask questions about the impact of gifts in wills to the charity. Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne offers free 30 minute consultations on the importance of Wills, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and range of financial products and services available, on the last Thursday of every month. It will be the first time a charity will be partnering on the event.
Gemma Saunders, Legacy Partnership Manager at Cancer Research UK said: “Gifts in Wills fund over a third of Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research. We have played a role in developing 8 out of 10 of the world’s top cancer drugs, with gifts in wills making a significant contribution to this. Recent research showed that 40% of people want to leave a gift in their Will to a charity and cause they are passionate about. We are delighted to be at the Humphries Kirk advice surgery, to answer questions and give information on the impact gifts in wills have to Cancer Research UK and the fight against cancer.” Please contact Humphries Kirk by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01460 279100 to book for the advice surgery.
