Free play activities will be coming to 20 communities in South Somerset this summer, as part of the District Council’s annual play days. Playdays will be held in Crewkerne at Henhayes Recreation Field and the George Reynolds Centre on Thursdays 25th July, 1st August and 8th August from 10 am – 3.30 pm. Activities are expected to include games and sports, bouncy castle, play art, BBQ cookout and fun on a 50 foot long water slide. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person. Activities may change depending on weather conditions at the time of the event. Councillor Mike Best, South Somerset’s Portfolio Holder for Health and Well-being said: “Playdays have a special place in the community and we hope to see the same engagement as we had last year.” To find out more about Playdays visit…/leisure-and-recreation/playdays
