FIREFIGHTER RETIRES AFTER 20 YEARS SERVICE

Crewkerne Firefighter Kelvin Marshall has retired after 20 years service to the local community and to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. Kelvin was presented with a long service certificate and a ceremonial statue of a firefighter at the end of his last shift at Station 77 in Crewkerne. A spokesman for Crewkerne Fire Station said: “Kelvin has been a valued member of the crew here at Crewkerne and has added a wealth of knowledge to pass onto the other firefighters, especially within the road traffic collision aspect of the role, being a highly skilled mechanic for the majority of his working career. Everyone at Station 77 wishes Kelvin all the best in the future.”
