Library Invites Nominations For Super Reader Medals/ Crewkerne Concert Series Continues With Strings & Ivories
Nominations are invited for super readers, who have taken part in this year’s Reading Challenge at Crewkerne Library. Crewkerne Library have teamed up with The Menders in Crewkerne and will present 20 medals to children who have done particularly well through great determination, helping a younger sibling with reading or have read books outside of their comfort zone.
The Space Chase reading challenge which invited youngsters to help the Rockets track down books nabbed by the Aliens by reading six books over the school summer holidays officially finishes on September 7th but nominations for the super reader medals will be accepted for at least a week after this date. Crewkerne Library have reserved two medals each for the local schools visited by the library, where the super reader medals and the certificates for all the children who completed their space mission, will be presented during school assemblies.
