Children at Jigsaw Preschool enjoyed their visit to the Memory Group at Henhayes Community Centre on Monday morning. The youngsters sang Christmas songs which were well appreciated by the audience and enjoyed playing pass the parcel. The presents had been wrapped by members of the Memory Group with one lady providing home-made bug models as gifts. A spokesperson for Jigsaw Preschool said: “The children had a lovely time and we all had delicious snacks and sweets before leaving.”
The Monday Memory Group is a weekly session for people of all ages who suffer from dementia and memory loss. The social group is run by qualified staff and volunteers and offers engaging and interactive experiences with a variety of activities and entertainment. Group members are always happy to interact with their guests and enjoyed talking to the youngsters and signing along with them, while their carers had time off to relax.
