The festive season of concerts and carol services in Crewkerne starts on Friday December 20th with a Christmas Concert by the Phoenix Brass Band at Henhayes Centre. Crewkerne’s friendly second section brass band will perform a host of Christmas favourites, beginning at 7.45 pm. Tickets cost £12 and include mulled wine and mince pies. A variety of carol services take place in the town on Sunday December 22nd beginning with Crewkerne & Misterton Baptist Church hosting their Carol Service at 3 pm, followed by tea, coffee and mince pies at the Baptist Church in North Street. A collection will take place in aid of Wadham School Chaplaincy Project and BMS World Mission. All are welcome but please do not park at the rear of the church.

Crewkerne Community Church hosts their Christmas Carol Service, singing a variety of traditional and contemporary carols from 4 pm to 6 pm. The Christmas Carol Service at St Bartholomew’s Church begins at 6 pm. St Bartholomew’s Church Choir will sing a mix of traditional and more modern songs, mulled wine and mince pies will be available afterwards. On Christmas Eve, Tuesday December 24th the Christingle Service, always popular with families and children, takes place at St Bartholomew’s Church at 5 pm.
