Refuse collections made by Somerset Waste Partnership will be two days later than normal from Wednesday 25th to 27th December inclusive with Friday’s pick-up rescheduled for Sunday 29th. There will be no change to the usual collection days on Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st. Collections normally carried out on Wednesday January 1st to Friday 2nd will be one day later, meaning that the Friday pick-ups will take place on Saturday 4th. Normal collections will resume on January 6th. Revised days also apply to assisted and clinical waste collections. No garden waste will be collected from 24th December to 3rd January inclusive and will resume as normal on 6th January.

Recycling sites remain open to their usual schedules but will be closed on 25th, 26th December and on 1st January. Christmas Treecycling run by South Somerset District Council in partnership with Crewkerne Town Council will offer a drop off point for real trees of all shapes and sizes in Henhayes car park.
