Plenty of bargains can still be found at the Rotary shop in Falkland Square, which will be closing soon. The seasonal charity shop declared open by the Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Robin Pailthorpe in November last year, has seen an increase in the number of people visiting, in comparison to previous years, due to its central position in the town. The shop was staffed by the Inner Wheel Club of Crewkerne on Mondays, Rotary Club of Crewkerne from Tuesdays to Fridays and the Rotary Club of Crewkerne District on Saturdays. A spokesman for the Rotary Club of Crewkerne said: “Come and see us for last minute bargains, no sensible offer will be refused.” Stock still available includes pebble pools, garden ornaments, tents, pictures, books, china, glassware and much more. The last day of trading is expected to be on January 14th or before, depending on how quick the remaining stock is cleared. Proceeds from all sales made at the Rotary shop will go mainly to local Rotary charities.Boost Post
