CHEQUE PRESENTATION FOR POPPY APPEAL

A cheque for £105.00 was presented to the Crewkerne Branch of the Royal British Legion, at the Antiques Bazaar, for the Poppy Appeal. The money was raised by ex-serviceman Keith Chinn, who has a unit at the antiques and vintage centre in South Street. For the sixth year running, Keith donated a percentage of his sales made at the Antiques Bazaar during last November with proprietor Anthony Bucke, once again matching the amount pound for pound. Branch members present at the cheque presentation were chairman Tony Samuel, secretary Alice Samuel, Poppy Appeal officer Bob King and committee members Pete and Rita Brown. Branch secretary Alice Samuel said: “We are very grateful to Keith and Anthony for their kind donation.”
