Crewkerne, Beaminster and Yeovil Chiropractic Clinics have been awarded the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) for the fifth time, by the Royal College of Chiropractors. The PPQM is awarded to chiropractic clinics that demonstrate excellence in meeting patient expectations in a range of areas, including accessibility, cleanliness and safety and patient communication. Clinic Director, Martin Young recently received the award from Mark Gurden, the President of the Royal College of Chiropractors at a ceremony in London. Martin Young said: “It is always great to get official recognition of extra measures we all take to make our patient experience as caring and professional as possible, from the moment they walk through the door.”
The three local chiropractic clinics which offer a range of services – chiropractic care, alexander technique, sports massage, counselling and aromatherapy, have also been awarded the Clinical Management Quality Mark (CMQM) three times, which recognises excellence in operating within a structured and managed clinical environment, including aspects such as patient satisfaction, emergency procedures and operational policy. Only four dozen clinics in the UK currently hold this accreditation. The Yeovil clinic was the first of the three established in 1989, followed by Crewkerne in 2000 and Beaminster in 2008. Crewkerne Chiropractic Clinic is situated in Victoria Mews just off of Market Square.
