Crewkerne Museum and Heritage Centre is holding two events this month, as volunteers prepare to re-open for a new and exciting season on April 4th. A coffee morning takes place tomorrow, Saturday March 7th, from 10 am until 12 noon and on Wednesday 11th, John Sims will be giving an afternoon talk on Battle of Britain over Somerset, followed by tea and cake. A limited number of tickets, which must be purchased beforehand, are available from the Museum at £4 each.

The Museum’s first exhibition, in its 20th anniversary year, starts on Saturday April 4th and runs until June 20th. Our Past Shaping Our Future looks at why the museum was set up 20 years ago and the events that have been held there since its grand opening by HRH Princess Anne. Visitors will be invited to offer comments on what they expect from a museum and heritage centre, to help plan future events and exhibitions.
