LEGION BRANCH BEGIN CREATING POPPY CASCADE

The Crewkerne Branch of the Royal British Legion will begin to make and collect poppies for their poppy cascade to celebrate VE Day, at tomorrow’s Social Morning in the George Reynolds Centre, from 10.30 am until 12.30 pm.
The poppy cascade will be unveiled on the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe, Friday May 8th, which has been declared a national public holiday. Sandie Smith, who organises the social events for the Branch said: “Come along and join us for tea, biscuits and a chat on Wednesday 11th at the GRC, we would love to see you.”
