COMMUNITY CINEMA PRESENTS DANISH CRIME THRILLER

Crewkerne & District Community Cinema, FilmCrew presents a Danish crime thriller for its March screening on Friday 13th at 7.30 pm in Wadham School Auditorium. The Guilty, first screened at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in Utah, USA, is directed by Gustav Moller and written by Gustav and Emil Nygaard Albert. The plot revolves around Copenhagen police officer Asger Holm, played by Jakob Cedergren, who has been assigned to alarm dispatch duty while awaiting a hearing for shooting and killing a young man.

Asger answers a call from a kidnapped woman and a race against time to save her begins, when the call is disconnected. Conducting his enquiries by phone, to trace the woman and her kidnapper, he soon realises that he is dealing with a crime that is far bigger than first thought. Doors open at 7 pm when teas, coffees and cake will be available for a donation. Non-members of FilmCrew are welcome to attend, without prior booking, for an entrance fee of £6.
