Crewkerne AWareness is looking forward to welcoming Rose White to the group’s March meeting on Monday 16th. Rose is a trained Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, who changed careers in 2016 to teach Mindfulness, having discovered its many benefits. Mindfulness is often quoted as the ‘answer to many modern day stresses.’ The positive neurological changes that occur in the mind when someone regularly practices Mindfulness techniques, have been scientifically proven.
Rose’s ‘Introduction to Mindfulness’ will include a 20 minute practice and demonstration of some short easy techniques, that can be practiced daily, to reduce stress and improve self-awareness. Crewkerne AWareness meets at the Unitarian Chapel hall in Hermitage Street. Doors open 6.30 pm for a 7 pm start. The entrance fee of £2.50 includes a tea or coffee and biscuits, served during the refreshment break. For more information, please contact Anastasia on 01460 351019.
