POLICE INVESTIGATE INCIDENT OF THREATENING BEHAVIOUR IN WOODLAND

The local Police beat team are investigating an incident of threatening behaviour towards a young female who was walking her dog in Beadon Woods, Merriott on Sunday evening, April 19th at around 7.05 pm. A spokesman for Avon & Somerset Constabulary said: “A woman in her twenties was walking near Moorlands Road at about 7 pm when she was approached by a male. He proceeded to spit at her before leaving the scene.”

Locally based police officers and PCSOs are making enquiries into the incident and are out and about patrolling the area. Anyone who may have seen something related to the incident or have information to assist with police enquiries, is asked to please call 101, quoting reference 5220085931.
