TOWN COUNCIL MEETINGS RESUME ON MONDAY WITH REMOTE VIEWING

Crewkerne Town Council are resuming their council meetings on Monday May 18th at 6.45 pm with remote viewing. Members of the public who wish to attend the online meeting are requested to contact the council via email, towncouncil@crewkerne-tc.gov.uk In the reply email, they will be given details of how to join the meeting. In order to facilitate the smooth running of the council meeting, those who wish to submit questions to the council, will be asked to provide any queries in advance of the meeting, again via email.

Monday evenings scheduled online meeting of the Full Town Council will be the first meeting since the lockdown began in March. Items on the Agenda include; reports from the County and District Councillors, Clerk’s progress report, GRC Management, Youth Service, Covid-19 recovery strategy, possible transfer of land ownership from SSDC to Crewkerne Town Council at Severalls war memorial and in front of the town hall and whether this year’s Summer Fete, planned to take place on Henhayes field on Saturday July 18th, should be cancelled.

The remote council meeting will also include a list of new planning applications for town councillors to review and a debate on whether future Planning & Highways committee meetings, should be resumed remotely. Recent planning decisions made by SSDC are listed below:
