The next remote viewing meeting on Zoom of Crewkerne Town Council, on Monday July 27th, will follow on from the Annual Meeting of the War Memorial Commemoration Trust at 6.45 pm. On the agenda for the full council to consider are two quotations for the installation of air conditioning in the main hall and bar area at the George Reynolds Centre, the amended Service Level Agreement between the Council and ALS for provision of the Youth Service and South Somerset District Council’s reduced requirement for office space in Crewkerne Town Hall, with regard to consideration of waiving the charges to SSDC.
Councillors will also discuss the conservation of the Severalls War Memorial, a grant funding request from the Gardening Club at the above location for the purchase of gardening machinery and hand tools and a proposal from a member of the public, that Crewkerne Town Council establish a ‘pedestrian priority’ sub-committee, to look at issues in and around the town where pedestrian routes need to be created, improved or more clearly defined.
Reports will be received from County and District Councillors and the Town Clerk. Correspondence received from a resident, regarding Happy Valley, will be discussed and councillors will consider an appropriate response to the concerns raised. Members of the public who would like to attend the online meeting or wish to speak in the Open Forum, are asked to please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone the town council office on 01460 74001.
