Households and businesses in Crewkerne are invited to enter the Scarecrow Competition, organised by Crewkerne District Rotary. The theme for the scarecrow is being left to the entrants imagination but must be on show outside of a residential dwelling or in a business window, for two weeks from Saturday September 5th.
A prize of £30 will be awarded for the best scarecrow entry by a private household and a bottle of bubbly for the winner of the business entries. Winners will be announced on Saturday September 19th and contacted by phone, to arrange collection or delivery of their prize. A spokesperson for Crewkerne District Rotary said: “While we promise to respect the confidentiality of any personal data shared with us during the competition and to keep it safe, we will be announcing the winners in press releases.”
