Crewkerne Town Council meetings continue to be live-streamed with viewing numbers increasing for the remotely held sessions. The next meeting of the full council is on Monday October 26th at 6.45 pm. Items on the Agenda to be discussed, include further consideration of whether the Christmas Market should take place and if so, at what location, consideration of the quotations received for replacement fencing at the rear of the George Reynolds Centre and agreement of the articles to be included in the council’s next newsletter. The council will make observations on a planning application for a single story extension at 44 Langmead Square, which will be discussed in full at next month’s meeting of the Planning and Highways Committee. Reports will be received from County and District Councillors and a progress report from the Town Clerk.
Crewkerne Town Council will then reconvene as the War Memorial Trust to further consider a request from Severalls Jubilee Bowls Club to erect a fence, a new request from the club to install new signage and discussion on the quotations received for repair of the chain link fencing bordering Lang Road and Hardy Court and the construction of new fencing behind the tennis courts.
