PRESCHOOL CHILDREN ENJOY SEEING SANTA IN SHOP WINDOW

A group of young children from Jigsaw Preschool in Crewkerne enjoyed their walk around the town centre before Christmas and seeing Santa in the shop window of Crewkerne Antiques in Market Street. The children also visited the other festively decorated windows, who were taking part in the annual Best Christmas Window competition, organised by Crewkerne Christmas Committee and sponsored by McKinlays. This year’s competition was won by Anna Grand of Grand Interiors in the George Shopping Centre, who became the proud recipient of the Neill McClintock Cup.

A spokesperson for Jigsaw Preschool said: “The children really enjoyed a walk round the town, looking at the decorated windows. They especially enjoyed Oscars Frozen windows and had a good old sing-a-long to the Disney songs. We also sang round the town Christmas tree and were very impressed by the antiques shop traditional window display. Well done Crewkerne.”
