The Agenda for the meeting of the Planning and Highways Committee will include the Clerk’s update, matters of report and consideration on an amendment to planning application, 20/02727/HOU for the erection of a single story extension to front dwelling of 3 Court Barton and recent planning decision notices received from South Somerset District Council; Approval of applications for tree surgery at 43 East Street, Oakhayes Mount Pleasant, The Grove Poples Well, Christchurch Court and permission granted for extension of conservatory at 3 Sycamore Drive and replacement porch at 16 Bincombe Drive.
Items to be discussed by the Amenities Committee include further consideration of the options for the refurbishment of Falkland Square public toilets, a progress report from Councillor Best on the ongoing maintenance/repair actions underway at the George Reynolds Centre and consideration of a proposal from Space 4 Crewkerne to form a litter picking group of volunteers.
Financial issues to be discussed at the meeting of the Policy and Resources Committee will include the Budget for 2021/22 with consideration of the draft budget and associated precept calculation for recommendation to Full Council. Councillors will also review the draft proposal for awards of community grants and receive reports on predicted Earmarked Reserves and General Reserves, estimated level as of 31st March, 2021.
