Crewkerne Town Council will reconvene as Full Council following a meeting of the Planning and Highways Committee today, Monday February 8th at 6.45 pm. Items on the Agenda for the meeting of the Planning and Highways Committee, include consideration of the problem of dog fouling within the town and surrounding area, suggestions for road names within the key site, any other matters of report and consideration of new planning applications; 20/03668/HOU – 43 East Street, proposed demolition of rear portion of existing dwelling and existing rubble stone boundary wall for a new two storey rear and side extension with single storey side extension, creation of new parking bay and construction of new stone finished retaining walls and site access. 21/00048/HOU – Beechfields Mount Pleasant, to replace sunroom and construct additional dormer windows. 21/00225/HOU – 29 Winyards View, the erection of fence along the side of property adjacent to pavement. 1.6 metres further from existing brick wall.
After reconvening as Full Council, councillors will review a draft response to Somerset County Council regarding the Crewkerne and Ilminster Strategic Schools Review and approve the draft for their next newsletter, which when published, will be available to view online and download.
