THEFT OF METAL ADVERTISING SIGNS OUTSIDE OF CONVENIENCE STORE CAPTURED ON CCTV

The theft of three metal advertising signs from outside of the Central Convenience Stores and Kithill Post Office on Wednesday March 10th was captured on CCTV. The incident occurred at around 9 pm when a male described as being stocky built, around 5 ft 6 ins tall, balding with facial hair and in his mid to late 40’s, unlawfully removed the Tchibo coffee, Walls ice cream and Slushee signs from outside the store in Park View. Store manager, Lesley Harwood said: “He took the bases off and took the metal advertising bits.”

The unknown male is believed to have loaded the signs into a car, that was either parked on the road or just around the corner from the store’s car park. The incident has been reported to the police and anyone who has information that may help with their enquiries, is asked to please call 101, quoting the crime reference number 5221051874.
