PATHWAY ON HENHAYES FIELD TO BE CONSIDERED BY TOWN COUNCIL

A proposal put forward by A Better Crewkerne and District (ABCD) for a pathway on Henhayes recreation field will be discussed at today’s online meeting of Crewkerne Town Council at 6.45 pm. Members of the public who wish to attend can access the meeting through the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTA9K-7L4Onjcli2Gtz7tCg – Members of the public who wish to speak at the “Open Forum” section of the meeting are kindly requested to contact the Town Council office on 01460 74001, email towncouncil@crewkerne-tc.gov.uk, where they will be given joining details.

Councillors will also further consider the SSDC proposal for change of ownership of the Severalls war memorial, note that the regulation allowing remote council meetings is due to lapse on May 7th and consider the proposals to mitigate against this eventuality. Reports will be received from the County and District Councillors along with a Clerk’s progress report.

In the Finance section of the Agenda, councillors will agree the proposed cost for provision of the Youth Service for 2021/22, consider granting a donation to Crewkerne Community Church in support of the Be A Good Neighbour scheme and consider a grant application from Crewkerne Rangers and a request to site a second storage container on Henhayes.
