VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED AT VACCINATION HUB TO REPLACE THOSE GOING BACK TO WORK

Volunteers are urgently needed at the Henhayes vaccination hub in Crewkerne, to replace those who will be going back to work next week. President of Crewkerne District Rotary, Sandra Shore said: “With so many of our volunteers returning to work next week, we are looking to replace them. We currently cover one week on/one week off. Each shift is 2 hours and 30 minutes long, running from 8.30 am through to 6.30 pm. At the moment we are covering three to four days a week but this varies, according to when vaccine is expected to be delivered. Please join our amazing team of volunteers and help us to help the NHS.”

Teams of volunteers organised by Crewkerne District Rotary have contributed greatly to the successful and smooth running of the vaccine roll-outs in the town. Volunteers have worked during all weather conditions, meeting and greeting people as they turn up for their vaccine appointments at Henhayes Centre. New volunteers signing up will be asked to complete a short questionnaire for Rotary insurance purposes. A full briefing letter and list of volunteer roles will be provided as well as a hi-vis vest or jacket if needed.Anyone who is interested in volunteering at the vaccination hub at Henhayes, is asked to please email sandra.shore@hotmail.co.uk
