The April meeting of the Planning and Highways Committee at Crewkerne Town Council takes place remotely today at 6.45 pm. Items on the Agenda include consideration of the point raised by a member of the public regarding the need for segregated footpaths/cycleways on the CLR Key Site and calls for repairs to pavements in the town, particularly opposite Crewkerne Town Hall. Councillors will also take into account the points raised in a letter from Space4Crewkerne regarding other problems with pavements and footpaths in the town.
Councillors will discuss the issue of dog bins and where to site two new ones, along with a possible change of location of an existing dog bin, which may be moved from Pullmans Lane to Orchard Rise. The meeting will also include a Clerk’s update report, notification of planning decisions recently made by SSDC, new planning applications received and any other Matters of Report before councillors reconvene for a brief public meeting of the Full Council.
