Items on the Agenda include the elections for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Planning and Highways, Amenities, Policy and Resources committees, the appointment of five Joint Burial Board Committee members, the appointment of councillors to other committees and working groups and of council representatives on various outside bodies.
Verbal reports will be received from the County and District Councillors, along with a Clerk’s progress report. Crewkerne Town Council will also consider when the George Reynolds Centre should be opened to users, other than the Jigsaw Preschool and the youth group. Also up for consideration at today’s meeting is a request from ALS for use of the Henhayes recreation ground for the delivery of a programme of SSDC supported playdays and whether the town council wishes to hold a public summer event on the recreation ground this year.
