BY-ELECTION RESULTS FOR TWO SEATS ON TOWN COUNCIL

The results of yesterday’s by-election for two seats on Crewkerne Town Council have been declared. Topping the poll with 1083 votes was Alice Samuel, Liberal Democrat candidate. Second was Teresa Anne Bond with 834 votes, Conservative Party candidate. Alice Samuel and Teresa Bond are duly elected to serve as councillors on Crewkerne Town Council.

The other candidates in Thursday’s by-election polled as follows; Judith Morris, Liberal Democrat 739 votes, Steve Ashton, Conservative Party 737 votes, Paul Stuffins 267 votes. The total number of votes recorded in the Crewkerne by-election were 3660.
