POPULAR BURGER BAR BEGINS TRIAL OF WEEKEND HOME DELIVERIES

The Burger Shed begins a month long trial of weekend home deliveries on Friday May 28th. Initially the extra service from Crewkerne’s popular burger bar at Bilbys will be on Fridays and Saturdays within the TA18 postcode area, with a minimum spend of £20 and a delivery charge of £2 per order.

Proprietor of The Burger Shed, Rob Cottle said: “We will be running a trial of a home delivery service and if it proves to be as popular as we think it will be, we’ll make it a permanent fixture. This will allow you to enjoy The Burger Shed’s fabulous menu without leaving home. We will only have four slots available per hour, so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.”

Crewkerne’s first burger bar opened at the beginning of April this year offering a takeaway service only. The ‘dining in’ experience was added last week when government restrictions were lifted. The Burger Shed which is situated at Bilbys cafe in Market Street, is open on Tuesdays to Saturdays from 4.30 pm until 10 pm for takeaways and until 9 pm for eating in, which is subject to table availability and Covid regulations. All burgers are freshly cooked to order and packaging used for takeaways and home deliveries is made of compostable Kraft board. Orders for The Burger Shed services can be placed by phoning 01460 72622 or emailed to orders@theburgershed.co.uk.
