Items on the Agenda for the Planning and Highways meeting include the Clerk’s update report and correspondence received from residents, regarding pavements and road surfaces in the town, particularly at Popleswell and a report of a blocked well at Popleswell. Councillors will also receive recent planning decisions from South Somerset District Council and notification of the following new planning applications:

The Policy and Resources meeting, which will not start before 7 pm, will include consideration of the proposal for inclusion of more detailed finance information on the council’s website and any matters of report. Following on from P & R, the town council will reconvene as Full Council, to confirm that new councillor Alice Samuel will be the lead councillor on environmental concerns, consider when to re-start face-to-face council meetings and further consider the options for the refurbishment of the public toilets in Falkland Square.
